We are proud of our "suggested daily amount" software. Instead of the "one size fits all" guidelines on a typical nutrition chart -- which are guaranteed to be inaccurate -- our Nutrition Facts charts can automatically adjust the "RDI%" column to your individual needs, providing a vastly more accurate guideline.
In order to provide this service, we have to store your age, gender, and weight (and possibly special circumstances, such as pregnancy) on your computer. This is called a "cookie". Cookies are generally not a security threat to your computer, but they can be a nuisance.
How to Set Your Browser to Allow a Cookie from Interactive Health
If you want to use the personalized "suggested daily amount" feature for our Nutrition Data charts, you will have to let Interactive Health set a cookie on your computer. We promise that this cookie will be harmless; all it will do is automate the transfer of your personal statistics (the data that you enter in the form) to the Nutrition Data pages so that you get personalized suggested daily amounts of each nutrient.
To set your browser to accept cookies from Interactive Health, follow the instructions on our How to Allow Limited Cookies page. Then return to the "Set Personal Data" page. A short form will be provided: fill it in and you're all set!
If for some reason you don't want to allow this site to set a cookie, you will still be able to see the "one size fits all" RDI% on the Nutrition Data pages. Just ignore the set-up language and make your search.
